SEO For Dummies

As I do not know if this book has been written or in the works, I have decided to share a small part of my knowledge about SEO. If you are doing a search and you type in your Website name to search, you SHOULD show up in the search engine results. If you don't show up, then you need to contact your online marketing firm or contact us to take over the campaign.

The real achievement is if your Website shows up in the search results when certain keywords or phrases are searched. Think about it, how many people are really searching for your name? I mean besides maybe old friends or ex's, who else honestly would be searching for Lisa Weinberger?

Do you get the point? You want search results to draw potential clients to your Website and hope your site will convert the visitor into a new client or sale. A Website is only a strong tool if it can be found by potential clients. Online marketing and SEO copy needs to be performed and executed and the minimum amount of time to start seeing results is three (3) months.

SEO Meet Up Phoenix

I went to my first SEO Meet Up group yesterday and it was awesome. The group leader, Emily Leach has years of experience in the SEO industry and teaches courses to become certified in SEO. She travels from New Mexico to lead the group.

Another great thing happened, I finally got to meet in person the company who designed my Website! The co-founder of SEO Compatible Design, Chris was there. After speaking over the phone and through emails for over a year, it was very nice to finally speak face to face.

I look forward to attending some more meet ups and getting to know more local SEO's in The Valley of the Sun.

Did I mention I am still ranking number 1 for my keywords? All organic baby!!!

Case Study: Still #1!

Since getting involved in SEO, I have been experimenting with different keywords and which words would rank our business site, PearlyWrites.com the strongest.

Well I am happy to say a few weeks from my last post about being #1 on Google, we are still #1 and #2 for the key phrase Virtual Copywriting Company and #3 for Virtual Marketing Company.

With our continued efforts and work, we will now try and keep our position at the top.

Now its time to get our new site, www.SEOWriting101.com to rank at the top of the search engines. Wish us luck!
